1. Antonio Nusa 

Antonio Nusa is a creative left winger and attacking midfielder who plays for the Norwegian national team and RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. The 21 year old Norwegian made history in the round of 32 against Cote D’Ivoire by scoring a phenomenal curler in the 39th minute which made him the youngest goal scorer for the country since Steffen Iverson in 2000.

The “Norwegian Neymar” started off in Stabæk (professional  football club in Norway) and then moved on to join the Belgian team Club Brugge where he stayed for exactly three years before moving to RB Leipzig in 2024. The winger became a key part of the club and has a contract until 2029 but with the World Cup breakthrough and the team needing a sale, Leipzig have put him up for €60 million. He has already been approached by a few high profile teams such as AS Roma, AC Milan, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool but is yet to make his move with AS Roma making him their top priority since missing out on Summerville.

2. Bradley Barcola

Bradley Barcola is a French forward who usually plays on the left wing for both the French national team and Paris Saint-Germain. The 23 year old had some impressive stats this World Cup with an average goal contribution every 94 minutes. The Frenchman shared a dual role with his teammate Désiré Doue with subbing on and off in most of the 8 matches he played. He scored 3 impressive goals in the tournament with one 11 minutes off the bench against Senegal, one starting against Sweden and the last against England in the chaotic 10 goal bronze medal match.

Barcola started his career in Lyon where he made his senior debut in August 2021 and then went to sign for PSG in August 2023 where he currently plays as an established winger. He has caught the eye of many teams after his breakthrough performance this World Cup with Liverpool leading the race to sign him as a replacement for Mohammed Salah. Some other teams interested in him include Arsenal, who missed out on Morgan Rodgers after his move to Chelsea, and Bayern Munich who are looking for a potential replacement for Michael Olise if he leaves.

3. Johan Manzambi

Johan Manzambi is a Swiss player who plays as an attacking or defensive midfielder in both club and international football. The 20 year old broke a few records this World Cup by becoming the youngest substitute to score a brace off the bench and the youngest player to give a 5 goal contribution in a single tournament in 60 years.

Manzambi’s story began in the Swiss academy Servette before he moved to Germany to join SC Freiburg in 2023. He went on to make his Bundesliga debut in September 2024 and two years later helped the team reach the UEFA Europa League final with a vital semi-final goal leading him to earn the young player of the season award. After his breakthrough performance in the World Cup, he was shown interest by Newcastle United who were set to sign him but Aston Villa stepped in at the last minute to hijack the transfer by offering a club record €70 million bid which was then accepted by the young Swiss. The main reason for choosing Villa over Newcastle was due to Villa qualifying for the Champions League by finishing 4th in the Premier League, giving Manzambi an immediate entry to elite club football.

4. Yan Diomandé

Yan Diomandé is an Ivorian winger who primarily played on the right wing for both the Ivory Coast national team and Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. The 19 year old boasts some of the most impressive World Cup stats, such as being the first player in this century to create 10+ chances and complete 10+ dribbles in their opening three matches and being the youngest African to make an assist in the tournament. He also won Man of the Match on his debut against Ecuador for creating 5 chances, completing 4 dribbles and winning a whopping 11 duels.

Diomandé moved to the United States when he was 15 and enrolled at Florida’s DME Academy in 2022. After staying there for 2 years, the Ivorian then moved to the Spanish club CD Leganés and made a memorable debut against Real Madrid. He scored 2 goals in 10 LaLiga appearances before moving to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2025 where he had a very dominant performance with 12 goals and 9 assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances. After his breakthrough performance in the World Cup, teams such as PSG, Real Madrid, Liverpool, e.t.c immediately started to pursue him. Real Madrid currently is said to have completed discussions and is set to sign the young winger after increasing their bid from €100 million to €120 million. PSG was another team that had come close to signing Diomandé but was refused by his club RB Leipzig. The winger had made it clear that he was not interested in joining the Premier League by blatantly saying that he would only make a move to either Spain or France, hence making teams like Liverpool and Arsenal back off earlier on.
