After a strong first season in F1 Academy, Alba Larsen is set for a significant racing opportunity moving forward.

Ahead of the 2026 F1 Academy season, Ferrari will be fielding a new competitor.
Alba Larsen, who spent her debut season in F1 Academy racing for MP Motorsport and Tommy Hilfiger, will join Ferrari for the upcoming F1 Academy season.
In her debut season, the Danish driver finished seventh in the Drivers’ standings with a total of seventy points. Her best finish of the season was a fourth-place finish, coming in the Feature Races at Shanghai and Las Vegas. Alongside those fourth-place finishes, she finished in the top five in an additional three Feature Races. She also made it into the top five in two reverse-grid races.
Outside of F1 Academy, Larsen has competed in series like the F4 UAE Championship, while also being mentored by fellow Dane and former Haas driver Kevin Magnussen.
The driver appointment comes after Maya Weug completed a GT3 test for AF Corse, with funding from F1 Academy courtesy of finishing second to Doriane Pin.
With Esmee Kostermann, Alisha Palmowski, Mathilda Paatz, Rafaela Ferreira, Ella Lloyd, Ella Stevens, and Lisa Billard already in F1 Academy spots in 2026, Alba Larsen is the eighth driver to have a drive confirmed for the upcoming season.
Alba Larsen is set to make her Ferrari debut when F1 Academy returns on March 13th for the first of three racing days in Shanghai.
