Alsabah Takes Second Victory of British F4 Campaign
The Kuwaiti driver took his second victory of the season for Xcel Motorsport during the first race of Round 7 at Donington Park.

Coming into this weekend things got interesting as two drivers make their debut - Fred Green joins Virtuosi for this weekend as Alex O’Grady races with Rodin Motorsport following championship leader Dries Van Langendonck’s one weekend race ban due to accumulating 12 penalty points and the ruling made by Motorsport UK.
Starting on pole for Race 1 was Chris Dittmann Racing’s Tommy Harfield who was joined on the front row by Xcel Motorsport’s Jaber Alsabah. The lights went green and Alsabah took the lead and wheel to wheel went Harfield and Jeff-Hall but Harfield managed to keep position. Further down the grid, the Virtuosi of Fred Green as well as another car went through the gravel but were able to rejoin the track safely.
Spinning went the Fortec Motorsport of Roman Felber which led to the American driver losing positions. Further back, drivers such as Carney and O’Grady managed to gain 7 positions on the opening lap. Almost three wide between Carney, Slater and O’Grady and the O’Grady the British F4 debutant made an overtake on Slater.
Lindblom was handed a five-second time penalty for track limits, with the Red Bull driver running in ninth. Time penalties were also handed to Alfie Slater, Fred Green and Jarrett Clark and Ethan Carney.
With the chequered flag waved, it was Alsabah who crossed the line with a second victory of the season. In second came Tommy Harfield and rounding off the podium was Ethan Jeff-Hall.
