Bedrin Takes Fifth Race Victory of His 2026 Campaign

Nikita Bedrin takes another race victory in Round 10 at the Red Bull Ring, widening the gap to his championship lead.

With 19 cars on the starting grid, it will be Martin Molnar starting on pole with his teammate Maxim Rehm starting alongside him on the front row. Lights go green and we go racing at the Red Bull Ring. Wheel to wheel in the first corner went Molnar and Rehm and Maxim Rehm made the move on his teammate. Molnar fell into third place as championship leader Nikita Bedrin got ahead.

Off into the gravel went the Arden Motorsport of Lewis Gilbert and the Hillspeed of Peter Bouzinelos seeing a safety car deployment. Hillspeed’s Aurelia Nobels went into the pits following a broken rear wing, another retirement of the race.

The safety car came in with 17 minutes to go and a good start from Rehm but a lot of pressure from Bedrin behind him. Three corners in a row, Rehm and Bedrin go wheel to wheel, a competitive battle between the VRD and Rodin but it’s still Rehm leading the race. A car went stationary at the Remus Hairpin, the VRD Racing of Rodrigo Gonzalez, a second safety car deployment of the race.

On the second restart, a perfect restart from Rehm and a slight lockup from Bedrin and Molnar. It was an almost four wide battle for the final podium position. With DRS enabled it was Xcel Motorsport’s Lucas Fluxa making the move on Deagan Fairclough for third. Nikita Bedrin went all on the outside of Rehm and managed to make the move for the race lead. Both Rehm and Campbell-Piling got handed penalties for track limits.

At the chequered flag it was Nikita Bedrin from Maxim Rehm from Lucas Fluxa however with the track limits penalty applied it was Fluxa promoted to second place and Deagan Fairclough promoted to the final podium position.
