Two different drivers took pole position with champion Nikita Bedrin starting on the front row in the first race and GB3 rookie Lewis Wherrell taking pole for the second race, it was Bedrin who took victory in both main races with an exceptional overtake on Wherrell into the final sector of the last lap. The reverse grid race saw Rowan Campbell-Pilling on pole which the Briton converted into a second victory as VRD Racing claimed the teams title in the final race.

In race one, Rowan Campbell-Pilling made his way up from fifth to first to snatch the race lead from Nikita Bedrin. Further down the grid, yellow flags were waved for the cars of Aurelia Nobels and Arjen Kräling, however this didn’t lead to a safety car deployment. Once more yellow flags were waved for Kräling who went stationary on track as well as Leon Wilson, two separate incidents for the drivers safety car deployed in the first lap.

Racing resumed with 14 minutes left of racing, an exceptional restart for Campbell-Pilling, seven tenths of a second ahead of Nikita Bedrin. The gap began to close to the race lead with Campbell-Pilling, Bedrin and Fluxa, Bedrin having made the move back into the lead. A five-second penalty went the way of Deagan Fairclough, Ricardo Baptista and Yuhao Fu. Nikita Bedrin crossed the line with another victory of his GB3 career and clinched the championship with two races to go, finishing ahead of Xcel Motorsport teammates Rowan Campbell-Pilling and Lucas Fluxá.

Coming from British F4 to joining GB3 for the final round, JHR Development’s Lewis Wherell took a pole position in the series starting alongside Fred Green on the front row, the British driver raced in the GB4 Championship throughout the 2026 season. Off the line, it wasn’t an ideal start for Wherell who was under pressure from Abbi Pulling going into the first corner. Bedrin made up two positions on the opening lap as further down the grid, contact between Dante Vinci and Flynn Jackes between Sectors 1 & 2 saw the Hillspeed of Vinci out of the race. Yellow flags were waved however there wasn’t the need for safety car intervention. Wherrell built a two second gap to Pulling five laps into the race, an impressive drive from the rookie driver.

Safety car was deployed for Theo Palmer who went off in the gravel with a front left puncture following potential contact with Maxim Rehm who pitted towards the end of the lap. Under safety car conditions Rodrigo Gonzalez returned to the pitlane with a potential issue. Racing resumed with nine minutes to go as Wherell pulled away from Abbi Pulling as the Rodin Motorsport driver got put under pressure from rookie Fred Green and champion Nikita Bedrin for third position. Bedrin made the move on Green for third, the VRD Racing taking second position from Pulling and now trying to get ahead of Wherrell with three laps to go. Going into the final sector of the final lap, Bedrin made to move on Wherrell to take his eighth victory of his GB3 season, Lewis Wherrell took a second place finish with Abbi Pulling rounding off the podium.

For the reverse grid race it was Rowan Campbell-Pilling who started on pole. The formation lap saw a spin from Dante Vinci who managed to keep going and line up second on the grid. An exceptional start from Aurelia Nobels who is right on the rear of Campbell-Pilling into the opening corner. Bedrin made his way up to fourth position on the opening lap. Flynn Jackes sent a move on Aurelia Nobels for second position and got ahead of the Hillspeed driver. Dante Vinci and Fred Green received five-second penalties for exceeding track limits with a few other drivers having received warnings from race control. A penalty went the way of Martin Molnár which put VRD Racing one step closer to the teams title. Bedrin made a move on Nobels for third, three race wins over a race weekend looking capable for Nikita Bedrin. Yellow flags were waved and the safety car was deployed for the Hitech car of Yuhao Fu who pulled over on track and Lucas Fluxá having dropped down the order.

With a final lap left of the season it was a perfect restart from Rowan Campbell-Pilling who crossed the finish line with his second victory of the season ahead of Flynn Jackes in second and Nikita Bedrin in third. Fairclough was able to secure the runner-up spot in the championship as VRD Racing became team champions in 2026.
