Bedrin Takes Third Race Victory of His 2026 Campaign

VRD Racing’s Nikita Bedrin, the championship leader, took his third win of the season in the second and final GB3 Championship race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

The second qualifying session saw Nikita Bedrin set the fastest time - a 2:11.911 meaning he would start Race 2 in pole position ahead of Maxim Rehm and Abbi Pulling. A perfect start from Bedrin off the line, keeping a gap between himself and Rehm. Pulling lost two places on the opening lap, with Molnar and Fairclough getting ahead of her.

Arden Motorsport’s - Leon Wilson made his way into the pit lane for a front wing replacement and then rejoined the race at the back of the pack. Molnar managed to get ahead of Fairclough on Lap 4, meaning he was running in a podium place and Jackes saw incredible progress after starting the race in P22 and making it all the way up to 11th by Lap 6. He had just missed out on a top-10 finish following his standout performance.

It was Bedrin who was victorious for his third time this season, finishing the race 6.516s ahead of Maxim Rehm. On the final podium spot was Martin Molnar who now finished on the podium for the third time in 2026. Pulling who won Race 1 was unable to finish on the podium this time round after battling with Fairclough on track. Bedrin now leads the championship by 27 points and the GB3 Championship continues at the Hungaroring on 4-5 July.

3. Jin Nakamura (Hitech) - 96 points

4. Martin Molnar (Rodin Motorsport) - 81 points

5. Lucas Fluxá (Xcel Motorsport) - 79 points
