In today's EFL Championship fixture, which was streamed live on Sky Sports, Birmingham City hosted Derby County in a thrilling Boxing Day encounter as both sets of players went down to 10 men at St Andrews.

Report :

Derby County had taken the lead in this EFL Fixture at just 27 minutes in with a goal from Ageymang but were then forced to play half of the match with just 10 men. This was the result of Joe Ward been given a 2nd yellow card before half-time.

Increasing the game tension, at the 64th minute, Birmingham City's Jack Robbinson equalised the score 1-1. This was a hot-headed match with Derby's Klare, who was lucky to escape a red card because of a foul that he had made on Birmingham's Ebou Adams.

The Blues, whose winning run was extended to 5 wins and this draw, continued till late as they searched for a match winner to gain all 3 points.

The Result was a positive outcome for the Blues, despite the draw result, because it means the team hasn’t lost a game since the beginning of December, when they lost 2-1 to Watford.
