Mondo Duplantis, the world’s top pole vaulter has married his longtime partner Desiré Inglander, opening a new chapter in his personal life.
The couple had already had a secret wedding in Broligt, Stockholm at Luxias Castle on March 7th , keeping the ceremony private. However, the big wedding celebration was planned for the weekend of June 13th - 14th in Cannes, France , with friends and family attending a more glamorous ceremony.
Several of the world’s famous pole vaulters were at Mondo Duplantis and Desiré Duplantis side, confirming the close relationships that the Swedish champion has developed with his great opponents. Among the guests stood the greek pole vaulter Emmanouil Karalis, one of Mondo’s closest friends, as well as Australian pole vaulter Kurtis Marschall , the American pole vaulter Sam Kendricks etc.
Mondo Duplantis , who continues to make pole vault history, had revealed that he had been absent from the Oslo Diamond League in order to prepare for his wedding, saying how important this period is to his personal life.
His relationship with the Swedish influencer and model has been public for the past few years, with their engagement announced in October 2024, through a photoshoot for Vogue Scandinavia, often keeping a low profile, but this change in their personal profiles has not gone unnoticed by their fans.
One of the most characteristic elements that reinforced this information about Mondo and Desiré getting married was Desiré’s name change on social media. Specifically, on both Instagram and TikTok, her name now appears as Desiré Duplantis, which essentially confirms her new marital status.
Mondo Duplantis who continues to dominate the world pole vault with continuous historic performances, is now combining athletic career with a new personal beginning, having at his side his wife who stood by him in his greatest achievements.
