BSB Heads To Oulton Park

The British Superbikes championship will be racing around Oulton Park from the 31st July to the 2nd of August for round six of the season. Here is everything you need to know.
The championship begins the run towards the end of the season and the championship battle is heating up. Every point is important and could shape the final standings. Gaining points at Oulton, could help a rider cement themselves in the championship fight. Like every race weekend in BSB, there are three races here, three chances to pick up points. Consistency this weekend can help the riders score heavily and gain on their rivals in the fight for the title, some riders view consistency as important as outright speed.
At the grid’s visit to Oulton Park earlier in the campaign, Kyle Ryde showed complete domination. He took a clean sweep during all three races and set himself as one to watch in 2026. Ryde will be going into this weekend watching what he did well at the season opener, and aim for a repeat performance to strengthen his championship bid. Again at the season opener, Bradley Ray showed immense pace, especially in his qualifying speed and over one race lap. He wasn’t able to match Ryde and couldn’t claim a victory. This time out, he will be going for the top step of the podium and the crucial points in his championship fight.
Oulton Park is a circuit that rewards commitment. The international layout is 4.307km long and is one of the most demanding on the BSB calendar. The fast and flowing sections of Cascades, Island Bend and Druids require riders to be brave and commit to the daring and brave tactics. However the circuit is also narrow which leaves little room for mistakes and overtaking. Qualifying here will be crucial, track position from qualifying can be the difference between fighting for a podium and being stuck among the midfield.
Pressure is building for these riders, the title showdown is quickly approaching and will be on the forefront of their minds. Riders currently outside the leading title positions will be desperately wanting to score a large amount of points to keep them in the running for champion. But who will come out on top at Oulton Park?
