Citroën Confirm 2026/27 Line Up

Citroën racing have confirmed their line up for 2026/27 as Formula E heads into the Gen4 era.
The team have announced they will be fielding an unchanged driver line-up heading into the 2026/27 season. After debuting the lineup for the 2025/26 season, the duo have had a successful debut season. They currently sit fifth in the teams championship on 166 points. With two rounds still to go the drivers still have lots to play for.
Nick Cassidy remains with the team, when speaking to the media he said “I’m very happy to continue with Citroën Racing Formula E Team for Season 13. We’ve built a strong relationship within the team, and I’m looking forward to continuing the development of the GEN4.”
Cassidy made his debut in Formula E in season 7 with Envision Racing, he immediately left his mark on the series by claiming his first pole position and victory at the New York E-Prix, in his rookie campaign he finished 14th in the overall championship. In his 5 seasons so far, Cassidy has gained 12 race victories, 28 podiums, 8 pole positions and finished runner-up in the drivers championship twice. He also won the team championship with Envision in season 9.
Jean-Èric Vergne has also opted to stay with the team for season 13, when speaking to the media he said “I’m proud to continue this journey with the team. Developing a new generation of race car is always a unique challenge for a driver. The arrival of the GEN4 is incredibly exciting and will mark a major step forward for the championship.”
Vergne made his debut in Formula E back in season 1, he left Formula 1 and joined Andretti Autosport. He took pole position at his debut and scored his first podiums in Long Beach and London. In season 4 and 5, Vergne emerged as back to back driver champion, being the first and only driver to do this in Formula E. Overall he has 11 race wins, 38 podiums, 17 pole positions and more than 150 race starts.
