Comtoyou Racing got pole position and managed to turn that into a win at the Nürburgring as they took the checkered flag after a three hour race. The #48 Mercedes-AMG also got the results they needed to become 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Champions with one round to spare.

Penalties Control The Race

The #98 ROWE Racing BMW was running for a victory but had to pit to avoid a driver-stint time penalty. This dropped them out of contention for a win and opened chances for cars behind them.

The #2 Boutsen VDS Porsche also became a victim because of the regulations. Dorian Boccolacci exceeded the maximum stint time for a driver, resulting in a penalty that cost them valuable positions. These penalties played a big role in the order during the final stages of the race.

Safety Car Bringing More Drama

The race was also disrupted by multiple safety car incidents that caused a Full Course Yellows and Safety Cars. Several Cars weren't able to finish the full 3 hours, while the interruptions kept bringing the field closer together.

Despite the chaotic race behind the #7 Aston Martin, they managed to stay in control at the front. The driver managed the final stages of the race perfectly to secure their victory, while the #48 Mercedes-AMG climbed back to fourth after penalties and secured the Endurance Cup Title.
