This article covers the 19-year-old Swiss girl chasing her dreams all around the world. Tina Hausmann started karting at seven years old and made her single-seater debut in 2023.

About Tina Hausmann
Being born on the 5th of October in 2006, she grew up in Zurich, Switzerland. Along with progressing in her racing career, Tina is also recently graduated from the highest level of Swiss secondary school, the Gymnasium. Her dream is to one day race in Formula 1.
How she got into racing:
In various interviews, Tina has explained her introduction into racing. “I was at a car seller with my family and saw a go-kart. I ran to it and sat in it. After, I begged my parents to let me race go-karts.” Her parents let her race in karts and her first competitive season was in 2019 where she raced in both the Swiss Rotax Max Challenge Mini and Swiss Rotax Max Challenge Junior. She finished these seasons in 4th and 8th, respectively.

Which single-seater championships did Tina race in?
In 2023, Tina made her single-seater debut, racing for AKM Motorsports in the Euro 4, Italian F4 and the Formula Winter Series. In her first F4 race at Circuito de Jerez, she finished in 4th following it up with a third-place position in the next race. This was her first podium since graduating karts, showing promising pace.
Winning various trophies in these categories, Tina was awarded the best-placed woman in both the Euro 4 and Italian Formula 4 championships.

In 2024, she raced for PREMA Racing in the F1 Academy championship, representing Aston Martin Formula 1 team on track at 7 circuits around the world. During her time off from F1 Academy, she raced in the UAE F4 Championship with XCEL Motorsport.
After her rookie and learning season in F1 Academy, she resigned with PREMA and Aston Martin to race in F1 Academy the following season. She had an amazing season this year, placing 8th in the final standings with 50 points.
What’s the next step?
There is currently no news on what Tina plans to do in 2026. Since F1 Academy has a rule restricting drivers to only competing for two seasons, Tina will be looking at continuing her motorsport career elsewhere. As she continues to follow her dream, she strives to make history by becoming the first Swiss F1 Driver in 13 years, following Sebastian Büemi's retirement from F1 in 2011.
