The American driver took a first place finish at Imola for Race 2, making it his sixth podium of the year and fourth race win!

Starting on pole for Race 2 at Imola for the Eurocup-3 Championship is James Egozi and it is Rafael Perard who has locked out Row 1, a full Palou Motorsport Row 1. Following yesterday’s races Feldmann, Tarnvanichkul and Bostandjiev are unable to compete in Race 2 following the damage to his car in the sprint. Track temperatures at Imola for this race will be as high as 37℃.
Lights go green for the final race of the weekend, and what a start for both Palou Motorsport cars at the front, all cars managing to get past the first corner. The car of Lorenzo Campos came to a stall on track and stopped in the grass, yellow flags waved for the Double R Racing car. A safety car deployed during the opening lap, neutralising the rest of the grid. On the restart, Egozi got away well but had his teammate Perard right at the back of him putting Egozi under pressure.
Wheel to wheel go Al Azhari and Sztuka with Kacper Sztuka able to make the move on the Hitech driver. Race control is investigating the start of the race for a potential jumpstart from Perard. It’s a very close battle between Perard and Sztuka for second and third position.
On the final lap, there was smoke coming out of Nacho Tuñón’s car and his tyre came off, yellow flags being waved.
At the chequered flag, it was James Egozi who came across the line first with his teammate behind him. Rounding off the podium for Race 2 was Kacper Sztuka.

Currently leading the championship under the provisional results it is James Egozi from Ean Eyckmans.
