Evans To Part Ways With Jaguar At The End Of 2026

The partnership of a decade long is coming to an end when Season 12 wraps up. Currently there is no confirmation of the 31-year-old to be moving teams in Formula E or leaving the Championships having raced in the series for 10 years. With the end of an era fast approaching let’s take a look at their combined success.

The double debut in 2016 was the first of 10 chapters in their story. The opening E-Prix didn’t go as planned with a gearbox failure forcing them into a DNF however, they showed resilience with a fourth place finish in Mexico, foreshadowing the success to come over the years. In the 2017 season they made very promising progress with Mitch getting his first Podium and Pole Position which placed him 7th in the championship. They continued to build on the 2017 progress with Mitch getting his first of many wins at Rome while placing 5th in that year's championship. Evans and Jaguar remained in the top 7 of the drivers and team championship between 2019 and 2022.  In 2023 the team scored their first 1-2 podium with Evans taking gold and Sam Bird with silver. They saw great success the following year as Jaguar won both the Team and Manufacturers Championships though Evans was denied World Champion by Jake Dennis, he still finished 2nd overall.

Over the past decade the team and Evans have worked seamlessly to make them the most successful team in FE history with 24 wins total, 15 courtesy of Evans. After 132 starts Evans has been on the podium 36 times, bearing Jaguar’s logo and accumulated 1064 points for his team. This is a partnership we will forever remember in FE and everyone wishes Evans and Jaguar the best of luck for their racing futures.
