F1 Academy has announced that they will be collaborating with Sanrio and Hello Kitty for the final race of the season, which will be taking place in Las Vegas from the 20th to the 22nd of November this year.

The all-female, Formula 1 affiliated racing series announced earlier this week that they will be joining forces with Saniro, the creator of the incredibly popular Hello Kitty and Friends franchise, to give fans a brand new and totally unique experience of attending an F1 Academy race.
The sponsorship will provide fans with the chance to get tickets to the exclusive Hello Kitty Grandstand for the Vegas Grand Prix weekend and the opportunity to get their hands on a 36-piece merch collection featuring Hello Kitty and Friends characters like My Melody, Kuromi, Badtz-Maru and many more, with racing elements incorporated into the designs.
As well as this, F1 Academy has announced that there will be interactive experiences and features that fans can take part in, including displays of helmets with Sanrio art, Hello Kitty pop-up cafes and a few surprise visits from Hello Kitty herself alongside a host of other live entertainment.
Taking to Instagram, Susie Wolff, managing director of F1 Academy and icon of female representation in motorsports, wrote: “Well… we told you something exciting was coming… Hello Kitty is officially joining F1 Academy for our last round of the season, F1 Las Vegas. I loved pink as a little girl — and I loved racing just as much. With the Hello Kitty grandstand experience and merchandise range, we want to challenge the outdated perceptions of what belongs in motorsport and speak to the next generation of fans.”
