Raúl Fernández completed a good weekend at Silverstone by taking his first MotoGP win at Silverstone. Aprilia dominated the weekend, with an all Aprilia podium on Sunday.

Sprint Race
The sprint race was a disappointmenting race for Fernandez; he crashed out of the race, which meant he was unable to score points on Saturday, but the other Aprilia riders like Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzechi were really showing how strong they were around the track.
The Sprint was important to provide information for the teams ahead of the main race on Sunday. With Fernández out of the podium fight, Jorge Martín took victory from pole, and Ai Ogura and Marco Bezzecchi joined him on the podium.

Main Race
Fernández had a good race start on Sunday, he got away fast and quickly made his way into the lead to control the race, and built a good gap over the first few laps.
Jorge Martín's start was a bit more difficult after an issue with his ride-height device which affected his launch. He recovered strongly and made his way back up the order, ending the race in second place.
Marco Bezzechi also made it onto the podium during his first race back since his injury, he made this podium a historic Aprilia 1-2-3. He stayed consistent during the race and helped the manufacturer complete such a perfect result.
