FREC Comes to The Hungaroring

Round 5 of the Formula Regional European Championship takes place at the Hungaroring from 2-5 July, but what do you need to know?

The third round of the 2026 FREC is taking place at Hungaroring between July 2-5. GB3 is acting as one of the supporting racing series for the International GT Open alongside the Euroformula Open and the GB3 Championship. The round will feature one qualifying session and two races. 

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday 4th July

11:35 - 12:10 - Qualifying 1

18:25 - 19:00 - Race 1

Sunday 5th July

08:30 - 09:05 - Qualifying 2

16:00 - 16:35 - Race 2
