GB3 Preseason Testing Recap - Brands Hatch

On April 9th, pre-season testing for the GB4 Championship took place at Brands Hatch before action returns with the pre-event test at Silverstone scheduled for Thursday 23rd April.

Session 1

The first testing session saw Abbi Pulling (#3) for Rodin Motorsport topping the timesheet with a 1:17:962 lap time. The remaining top five spots were filled by Deagen Fairclough (#6), Flynn Jackes (#18),  Dante Vinci (#10), and Rowan Campbell-Pilling (#8). Furthermore, with narrow margins, the battles between drivers could be close with a gap of 0.651s separating the top seven drivers. With varied performances from different teams Rodin Motorsport appeared strongest with all of their teams finishing in the top ten. 

Session 2 

The second testing session at Brands Hatch for the GB3 Championship saw Nikita Bedrin (#20) driving for VRD Racing at the top of the timesheet with a lap time of 1:17:783, with Deagen Fairclough (#6), James Hedley (#67), Martin Molnar (#2), and Dante Vinci (#10) rounding off the top five. The classification for this session saw a gap of 0.547s between the top six drivers. Similar to the first session, all the Rodin Motorsport drivers finished in the top ten.

Session 3

In the third session, Rodin Motorsport driver Martin Molnar (#2) set the fastest time with a 1:16:605. The rest of the top five were as follows, James Hedley (#67), Maxim Rehm (#1), Abbi Pulling (#3), and Deagan Fairclough (#6). This session saw yet another outstanding performance for Rodin Motorsport with all three of their drivers finishing in the top four.

Combined Classification

Molnar also topped the timesheet overall for the combined classification. As all drivers completed their fastest laps in the third session it meant that yet again Rodin Motorsport came out on top.
