GB3 Takes On Silverstone

The opening round of the GB3 Championship takes place at Silverstone on April 25/26th, but what do you need to know?

The first round of the 2026 GB3 Championship is taking place at Silverstone over April 25/26th. GB3 is acting as one of the supporting racing series for the British GT Championship alongside the Ginetta Junior Championship, Ginetta GT Academy and GB4 Championship. The round will feature two qualifying sessions and three races.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday 25th April

10:40 - 10:55  - GB3 Championship - Qualifying 1

11:00 - 11:15  - GB3 Championship - Qualifying 2

15:10 - 15:35 - GB3 Championship - Race 1

Sunday 26th April

11:16 - 11:41  - GB3 Championship - Race 2

17:25 - 17:50 - GB3 Championship - Race 3

Based on the testing results over the last few weeks, the main drivers to look out for are Martin Molnár #2, Maxim Rehm #1, Abbi Pulling #3 and Deagan Fairclough #6 who had consistently finished within the top 5 on the combined classifications. 

The teams that could potentially be front-runners by the end of the weekend, by looking at the combined classification, include Rodin Motorsport and Hitech.
