GB4: Inaugural Winter Series sees Phillips named champion
For the first time, the GB4 Winter Series took place seeing four chaotic races and Jesse Phillips win the championship.

The GB4 Championship took to Snetterton to host the inaugural Winter Series, with a good start off the line for Conor Grant and teammate Proudford-Nalder closing in the gap for the lead not succeeding in the overtake. Harrison Mackie goes wide, going through Williams opening up a spot for Archie Bullard to get through. Lerverton made a move on Fox Motorsport’s Jasser Iskander for a spot in the top 10. George Proudford-Nalder was fighting alongside teammate Grant for the lead during the final lap.
Conor Grant was the first winner of the GB4 Winter Series, ahead of George Proudford-Nalder and Jesse Phillips.

Race 2 of the Winter Series saw a Douglas Motorsport front row lockup with George Proudford-Nalder on pole in wet conditions with Chase Fernandez starting from the pit lane. Off the line a great start from Proudford-Nalder but his teammate Conor Grant losing positions. Phillips went wheel to wheel with the Australian for the race lead and got ahead.
Off at the grass went Toby Campbell but rejoined at the back of the grid. Chase Fernandez went wide with Solenn Amrouche and Archie Pearce leading to a safety car deployment leading to red flags for the first time in the GB4 Winter Series. The restart got ahead with 10 minutes remaining under the safety car. With three minutes remaining under green flagged racing conditions, Phillips managed to hold position as Lewis Goff lost his front wing, losing position to Harrison Mackie.
An all Elite Motorsport podium with a win from Jesse Phillips ahead of Harrison Mackie and John O’Donnell.

Prior to the formation lap start, a gap on the starting grid where Archie Bullard’s car was meant to be saw him classified as a DNS (Did Not Start) with the start delayed for the recovery of his car. Harrison Mackie started on pole alongside teammate Jesse Phillips, an Elite Motorsport front row lockout. A poor start for Mackie with Proudford-Nalder making up positions to the race lead. The Australian driver was able to pull a gap of over two seconds during the opening lap.
Going the way of Jesse Phillips was a 10-second time penalty for being out of position on the race start. Mackie closed the gap between himself and Proudford-Nalder to a second. Out wide at Murray’s went Conor Grant, Lewis Goff getting ahead for fifth position. George Proudford-Nalder brought Douglas Motorsport back to the top step of the podium in the Winter Series ahead of Harrison Machie and Chase Fernandez.

The final race of the GB4 Winter Series has Harrison Mackie starting on pole and a poor start for the Elite Motorsport driver. A multi-car incident taking place involving Jamie Leverton, Archie Bullard, Max Yuill, Solenn Amrouche with the car of William Rohan stationary, all cars managing to rejoin safely. Proudford-Nalder making up positions puts him in the place to become the Winter Series Champion. Off the track went Alexander De Benedittis and Jamie Leverton neutralising the grid as the safety car was deployed.
Racing resumed with five laps to go as Phillips and Proudford-Nalder battled for second position. Mackie and Proudford-Nalder made contact, potentially costing the Australian the title as Jesse Phillips took over the race lead. Campbell was momentarily stationary over at Murrays but managed to get going once more.
Phillips crossed the line with a second race victory ahead of Chase Fernandez and George Proudford-Nalder but Proudford-Nalder’s third place finish was enough to snatch away the championship on the final lap provisionally, Proudford-Nalder was handed a penalty post-race dropping him down a position which meant the Winter Series championship went the way of Jesse Phillips, the two drivers had a one point difference in the standings.
