GB4 Takes On Silverstone

The opening round of the GB4 Championship takes place this weekend, but what do you need to know?

The first round of the 2026 GB4 Championship is taking place at Silverstone over April 25/26th. GB4 is acting as one of the supporting racing series for the British GT Championship alongside the Ginetta Junior Championship, Ginetta GT Academy and GB3 Championship. The round will feature a qualifying session and three races.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday 25th April

11:50 - 12:05  - GB4 Championship - Qualifying

16:50 - 17:10 - GB4 Championship - Race 1

Sunday 26th April

9:00 - 9:20 - GB4 Championship - Race 2

16:15 - 16:35 - GB4 Championship - Race 3

Based on the testing results over the last few weeks, the main drivers to look out for are Alex O’Grady #3, Fred Green #51, Luke Hilton #42 and Ingram Hill #8 who had consistently finished within the top 5 on the combined classifications. 

The teams that could potentially be front-runners by the end of the weekend, by looking at the combined classification, include Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing, KMR Motorsport, Elite Motorsport or Hillspeed.
