What a match for India and Chinese Taipei in their last match of the group stage. Here’s everything that happened.

The game kicked off and Chinese Taipei kicked off with strong possession, fast pace, and a fast start for India with an early corner. It hit the post but was quickly taken by the goalkeeper. Doing a quick check for a penalty, the game continued while VAR was undertaken. Chinese Taipei had a good shot at goal but was just wide. India tried to clear and gain more possession of the ball but Chinese Taipei were strong and managed to keep full control. India dribbled down, fed the ball through and attempted a shot but did not make it to the back of the net. Off the back of this, India tried to keep their momentum and attack but had no success with Chinese Taipei having good form and being spread out around the pitch.
Chinese Taipei got down the pitch, tried a shot, slapped away, rebounded back and saved again. There’s lots of loose passes just in the 11th minute. Chinese Taipei found a chance, passed the ball, an open goal, and the ball landed in the back of the net.
India is doing well to keep away from the challenges of Chinese Taipei. They then tried to shoot from a header but landed straight into the hands of the keeper. Unfortunately, on the 27th minute, the Chinese Taipei goalkeeper went down and received medical attention, luckily was able to get back up. The Chinese Taipei shot was just taken wide in the 33rd minute.
India got past defenders fast, took a shot but was just wide as well. A free kick was given to India, shoots right on goal, hits the crossbar, but what an amazing shot for India. There are VAR checks being undertaken to see if it’s a goal and it was awarded a goal. What an amazing goal for India, equalising the score.
An extra 3 minutes of extra time was given. India found some space, tried to score but landed in the hand of the goalkeeper. India’s goalkeeper took a really bad ball to the head, could be concussed but was ruled out by medics to continue to play. There seems to be ruled out handball for India and Chinese Taipei will be awarded a penalty. They take the shot, it’s saved by the post but just passed the line of the goal and Chinese Taipei was given the goal.
As the second half kicks off, both teams have amazing touches. India had very good control and possession of the ball, getting close to the goal but not managing to take a shot. Chinese Taipei found their goal, took a shot in the centre and found the back of the goal but unfortunately it was disallowed due to offside.
Lots of back and forths between the team. Chinese Taipei was given a corner, ended up in the keeper’s hand but was dropped. A foul was then given. Chinese Taipei took a great chance but missed. Lots of constant runs down the pitch.
With Chinese Taipei having a shot, they found the gap, took the shot and made it to the back of the net, making the score 3–1 to Chinese Taipei. But during all of this, 2 Indian players were on the ground, one being the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper having another whack on the head, not good at all. Both teammates down on the ground. India’s captain had to be stretched off as well as the goalkeeper being stretched off as well. Thoughts are with both players.
Towards the end of the game, both teams were still putting in a few amazing saves between both teams and then the final whistle was blown, leaving the final score 1–3 to Chinese Taipei.
