IndyCar Heads to Markham for the Ontario Grand Prix

A new street circuit, title-fight intensifying and plenty more to look forward to as IndyCar enters a new chapter in Markham. Here is everything you need to know!
The Track:
After nearly four decades of The Ontario Grand Prix at the Exhibition Place in Toronto, IndyCar is entering a new era. The race has been relocated to the new and temporary street circuit called “Streets of Markham” to host the event under a five-year old contract.
The circuit features 12 turns across the 3.52 km (2.19 mi) layout, including a double sided pitlane and is designed to deliver mere action and overtaking possibilities than the old track in Toronto.
Drivers to Look For:
Alex Palou is the first driver to look for. He has been by far the most consistent driver on the grid so far this season, and with the title fight intensifying, Palou will be looking to defend his reigning championship.
One of Kyle Kirkwood’s specialties is the street circuits, and he will be hoping to continue that strong reputation at the Streets of Markham.
Former Formula 1 driver, Mick Schumacher, is coming off a rough season and will be looking to turn his fortunes around and make some headlines. He will be one of the drivers to watch.
