To begin with, here is an introduction to the competition and the circuit. The competition strictly takes place at the Nordschleife across varying weekends, a track regarded as one of the most challenging in the world.

The circuit is over 15 miles long, mixing the Grand Prix circuit into the full Nordschleife loop. In total, it contains 73 corners, 33 left and 40 right. Across the lap there is a 300 metre change in elevation, showcasing the bumps and hills of the track.

The lap record was set by Mercedes-AMG ONE in 2024, with a lap of 6:29:090. This cements how long the track really is.

Moving on to Max Verstappen’s weekend, he will be racing a Mercedes GT3 alongside teammates Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon, and Dani Juncadella. Each driver is predicted to do one hour of the main four-hour race.

Qualifying will take place at 8:30am CET, four hours before the main event of the weekend begins - the race at 12:00pm CET, with it finishing at 04:00pm CET.

If you would like to watch the race, head on over to the official NLS YouTube channel, where you will find the official race broadcast, multi-camera view and live timings. This way of broadcasting, makes it one of the most accessible series for viewing in the motorsport world.
