Australian driver Noah Lisle is no longer able to compete in the GB3 Championship with Hitech this season as a result of issues with funding. This marks an unexpected setback in his racing career.

On April 14th, Lisle posted a statement on Instagram confirming that he is no longer competing in the 2026 GB3 campaign as a result of “ongoing family/financial problems.” The Australian explained that this had come as a huge surprise, despite having ongoing issues throughout previous seasons. As of now he will be taking a year off from racing.

Lisle was on track to continue his progression in the GB3 Championship, a key hurdle in the single-seater ladder. However, like many young drivers, Lisle has been impacted by the financial implications associated with motorsport. This shines a light on the challenges that many emerging talents face in the world of motorsport without long-term sponsorship or financial security.

Furthermore, Lisle had stated in his Instagram post that “my intention is to do everything in my power to return to racing in 2027 and I will remain based in the UK throughout 2026.” His determination to return to racing may indicate that this is only a temporary pause to his racing journey.

All of us at The Rookie Reporters wish Noah Lisle the best in securing the support he needs to return to the grid next season!
