O’Grady Sets Fastest Times On Opening Day of Testing at Donington Park

Alex O’Grady set the fastest time in pre-event testing for KMR Sport in scorching conditions in the East Midlands.

The Irish driver set an overall best time of 1:29.768 in the first of four sessions in the day on a day where temperatures were exceeding 30℃. 

Although it was Elite Motorsports’ - Fred Green who topped the time sheet in sessions 2 & 3, it was Hillspeed’s Enzo Hallman who took the fastest time in the last session, placing him second overall just 0.007s behind O’Grady.

This meant that current championship leader - Fred Green had to settle for third with his fastest lap set in the second session of the day. Behind him it was Fortec Motorsport’s Thomas Ingram Hill in fourth with Luke Hilton for Nitrous Competitions ADM taking the fifth spot.

Over these sessions, the top-10 were covered by 0.651s by the end of the day and with testing continuing on Friday, who will top the next four sessions.
