Stevenheydens to Race in Place of Del Grosso at Donington Park

The GT4 European Series driver will race in GB4 this weekend deputising for Del Grosso.

Venezuelan driver, Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso won’t be racing at the penultimate GB4 round at the East Midlands circuits following an injury sustained during the Zolder 24H race. As a result of this, Yani Stevenheydens will take his place in Elite Motorsport for the Donington Park weekend. 

The McLaren Talent Pathway driver has been racing in the GT4 European Series this year with Elite Motorsport and is currently 11th in the championship standings for drivers competing in the Silver category. Stevenheydens does have previous single seater experience in F4 and Eurocup-3.

In Thursday’s testing sessions he finished inside the top-10 during his first proper drive in the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 and at the East Midlands circuit.
