After qualifying day at Spa, Formula 2 has set the grid for both the Saturday Sprint Race and the Grand Prix Sunday Feature Race.

To commence the on-track action in this weekend's F2 schedule, they headed out early as the first cars on track, due to Formula 3’s delayed session. Practice was kept clean with McLaren junior Alex Dunne topping the session with a 1:59.519, ahead of Prema driver Gabriele Minì by almost 4 tenths.
Championship Leader, Richard Verschoor, ended the session in 7th with a 2:00:278, with his closest rival, American Jak Crawford, taking the flag in 5th position with a 2:00:039. Track limits have been the session's major problem, with many lap times deleted from top running drivers.
Qualifying was dominated by Alex Dunne, who took this weekend's Aramco Pole Position award and will start his race in his Rodin in the best seat in the house on Sunday.
The first laps were dominated by Irish driver Alex Dunne, who had done a 1:57:863 and was 4 tenths ahead of the field going into the final laps. Verschoor and Crawford found themselves way down in 10th and 11th, respectively, as the field pitted for a fresh set of tyres.
Every driver had set a time bar, apart from Oliver Goethe who lost his first flying lap to track limits, creating pressure to perform with his one chance.
Dunne increased his pole margin with a 1:57:151, but the field still had time to complete one more round of flying laps to be able to topple Alex Dunne.
No one managed to improve on their previous laps on the same tyre, leaving the top two in the championship outside the top ten, with Richard Verschoor in 11th and Jak Crawford in 14th for both of this weekend's races.

Ritomo Miyata will start the Feature Race on the front row with his best-ever Formula 2 qualifying result, with his teammate Martins and Invicta’s Roman Stanek on the second row. The Campos and Redbull junior duo of Lindblad and Marti on row 3.
The Sprint Race pole sitter will be Oliver Goethe, who had all the pressure after no time from the start of the session. Joining him on the front row is the home hero of Amaury Cordeel, who will have the nation's support in Saturday’s Sprint at 1:45 pm local time.
