With the FINAL4 of men’s handball just around the corner, here is everything you need to know ahead of the FINAL4 line-up being set.

Similar to football, handball has their own Champions League in European handball as well, bringing together the best teams from across the continent to compete for the ultimate title throughout the season.
Organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF), the tournament features the top clubs from the continent's highest-ranked nations.
The Champions League’s format starts with a group stage, where teams are divided into groups and play each other home and away.
The top teams from these groups then move on to the knockout rounds, which includes play-offs and quarter-finals. These are decided over two legs, with each team playing one game home and one away.
From there the pressure rises, as they reach the final stage, the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 - also known as the FINAL4. Here the tournament culminates over a single-weekend event held at LANXESS arena in Cologne, Germany - this year and until 2029 - from the 6th till 7th of June.
This final stage consists of two semi-finals played on Saturday, followed by a third-place match and the grand finale on Sunday. This produces a very exciting weekend with tense matches that often requires overtime or 7-metre shootouts to determine a winner.
Whichever team comes out on top after this weekend, will be declared the supreme club in Europe.
Right now the top contenders to reach the FINAL4 are Germany's SC Magdeburg, who are the 2025 defending champions and Germany’s other top team Füchse Berlin with players like Mathias Gidsel and Lasse Andersson.
Other top contenders are the Hungarian club, One Veszprém HC, along with Denmark’s Aalborg Håndbold, who have participated in the FINAL4 in recent years and Spain’s FC Barcelona.
