This weekend it was time for Silverstone, and it couldn't have gone any better for Nikola Tsolov who not only took the win for the Sprint Race but also the Feature Race, which means he took back the championship lead from Gabriele Miní.

Late Sprint Race Drama
Saturday’s Sprint Race had plenty of action during the whole race. Nikola Tsolov started from P6 on the grid, but made his way up to P3 in the first few corners. Gabriele Miní was the one who looked set to win this race after leading much of the race, but a lock-up on the last lap allowed Tsolov to take the lead using the slipstream and DRS down the Wellington Straight, the Bulgarian driver completed the overtake to take his first victory of the weekend. Rafael Villagómez crossed the line in third after another impressive drive for Van Amersfoort Racing.

Feature Race Makes It Double
The feature race was all about strategy, tyre management and having a good launch of the line. The one starting from pole was Rafael Câmara who lost the lead to Kush Maini at the start of the race, while Tsolov who started fifth got a good launch off the line and moved into second place during the first few laps. After being in second place behind Maini through the opening stint of the race, Tsolov made his move to take the lead as Maini tyres began to wear, taking control of the race from the front.
Villagómez once again finished on the podium, but this time in second place, making Silverstone his strongest weekend of this season, while Maini held onto the podium to finish in third, to get his first Feature Race podium of this season. Behind them, Alexander Dunne and Câmara finish up the top 5 after an amazing battle throughout the race.
