On May 31st the third diamond league began in Rabat Morocco where athletes from all over the world gave their best.

Women’s Discus Throw
Vallarie Sion from USA wins at the women’s discus throw with a throw of 68.75m setting a new MR.
Women’s 400m Hurdles
Emma Zapletalova from Slovakia wins the Rabat Diamond League with a time of 52.82s setting a new National Record. The Slovakian athlete storms away with both a national record and WL.
Men’s Shot Put
Joe Kovacs from USA won at Rabat with a huge throw at 22.58m setting a new WL. Not only does he secure a world lead, he grabs the MR in the process.
Men’s 400m
Jacory Patterson from the USA powers through the final straight to stop the clock at 44.11s securing the MR previously set back in 2018 .
Women’s 100m
Tina Clayton from Jamaica stunned Rabat with a time of 10.85s to take top spot in a stacked field.
Men’s 200m
Kenny Bednarek from USA leads from start to finish stopping the clock at 19.69s. A stunning performance from the American to steal the MR previously set at 20.03s.
Men’s 1500m
Yared Nuguse from USA finds another gear down the home straight to edge the win in 3:30.35s. The American held off the field and was rewarded with a new MR.
Women’s High Jump
Yaroslava Mahuchikh from Ukraine won the Rabat Diamond League with a jump of 1.97m.
Women’s 200m
Cambrea Sturgis gets the better of the field in 22.21s to secure the win at the Rabat diamond league.
Women’s Pole Vault
Nina Kennedy from Australia won at the Rabat diamond league with a jump of 4.80m.
Men’s 800m
Max Burgin from Great Britain leads from the front of the pack crossing the line in 1:42.98s.
Men’s Javelin Throw
Anderson Peters from Grenada wins at the Rabat Diamond League with a throw of 86.08m setting a new SB.
Men’s 3000m Steeplechase
Soufiane El Bakkali from Morocco unleashes a fantastic finish to win in 7:57.25s. After a nail biting race, the Moroccan is rewarded with a WL.
Women’s 800m
Audrey Werro from Switzerland won at the Rabat Diamond League with a thrilling two lap battle clocking a time of 1:56.56s setting a new MR which it was set last 10 years ago.
