Wanda Diamond League Rome Italy 2026

On June 4th the fourth Diamond league of the year began where all athletes from all over the world gave their best. The meeting brought together many of the world’s top athletes, who competed across track and field events in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Men’s Javelin Throw 


Rumesh T. Pathirage from Sri Lanka is the winner of the Rome diamond league at the men's javelin throw with a throw of 92.62m setting a new WL.


Women’s Pole Vault


Molly Caudery from Great Britain won at the Rome Diamond League at women’s pole vault with a jump of 4.80m


Men’s Triple jump


Andy Díaz Hernández from Italy seals it in the men’s triple jump with a best jump in round 5 of 17.59m.


Women’s 400m Hurdles 


Emma Zapletalova from Slovakia puts together a super strong race in the women’s 400m hurdles in 52.58 seconds setting a new WL taking the win and the full 8 points for the final diamond league.


Men’s High Jump


Matteo Sioli from Italy produces a season best of 2.28m on an important night for him at the Rome Diamond League as he takes home victory in the men’s high jump

 

Men’s Shot Put


Leonardo Fabbri from Italy takes home victory and does it for the fans at his best throw in round 3 of 22.14m means he takes the full diamond league final points at the Rome Diamond League.


Women’s 100m Hurdles 


Megan Simmonds from Jamaica had a big push after the final hurdle to clock a season best of 12.50 seconds to secure victory.


Men’s Long Jump


Bozhidar Sarâboyukov from Bulgaria takes the win in his final jump. A sixth round of 8.26m gives him victory by 2cm in the men’s long jump which is an important confidence booster for the Bulgarian no doubt.


Women’s 5000m


Likina Amebaw from Ethiopia had a stunning finish and made an aggressive move in the final 20m of the women’s 5000m to grab the win in 14:18.41 setting a new WL.


Men’s 110m Hurdles


Trey Cunningham from USA finally breaks the 13 seconds and proves to be good as he puts together a perfect performance to win at the Rome Diamond league with 12.98 seconds setting a new WL


Women’s 400m


Henriette Jæger from Norway claims a big win at the Rome Diamond League in the women’s 400m with a time of 49.60.


Women’s 200m


Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia proves that she is the best in the night at the Rome Diamond League taking victory in 21.93 seconds in  the women’s 200m.


Women’s 1500m 


Georgia Hunter Bell from Great Britain had a stunning performance at the women’s 1500m as she claimed the number one spot with a time of 3:58.63.


Men’s 100m


Noah Lyles from USA lays down a strong marker for his season ahead by clocking a time of 9.88 seconds.
