Fairclough Takes Second Race Victory in GB3

Hitech TGR’s Deagan Fairclough takes a race victory at the Hungaroring for Round 7 of the 2026 GB3 Championship.

Through Turn 13 is the first DRS detection zone at the Hungaroring for GB3 with the activation zone going down the main straight. The second activation point is located just after Turn 2.
It is home hero Martin Molnar who starts Round 7 on pole, alongside him on the first row is Hitech TGR’s Deagan Fairclough. Light went green for Round 7 and wheel to wheel went Molnar and Fairclough into the first corner and Deagan Fairclough was now the race leader. Further down the grid was a big double front lock up for Elite Motorsport’s Flynn Jackes.
Molnar under pressure from the VRD Racing of Nikita Bedrin having to be defensive. Fairclough is now 1.9s ahead of the Hungarian driver. Flynn Jackes got a 10 second time penalty for a jump start.
Abbi Pulling went off the road and into the barrier, losing her front wing after clipping the rear end of Rowan Campbell-Piling’s car., an unfortunate end to her race. The safety car being deployed for the first time. Now Fairclough’s gap to Molnar was neutralised.
The rear right tyre for Aurelia Nobels had a puncture, making her the second retirement of the race. We went back racing at the Hungaroring with 6 minutes and 20 seconds to go and what a restart from Fairclough with Bedrin and Rehm going wheel to wheel with home hero Molnar, the Hungarian driver falling into fourth.
Both Rodrigo Gonzalez and Lewis Gilbert dropped down the order after heading into the pits.
Across the chequered flag goes Deagan Fairclough taking his second race win. It’s Nikita Bedrin finishing in second and taking the final podium position was Maxim Rehm for Rodin Motorsport.
Richard Randle spoke to race winner Deagan Fairclough following the race.
RR - “Down here in Parc Femme with Deagan Fairclough, Deagan your first win since Monza last year but more importantly given your speed this weekend it feels like that was coming.”
DF - “Yeah, I mean this weekend has been really strong and I’ve got to say a massive thank you to the boys at Hitech, they’ve been working so hard and especially in this heat. Finally we’re on that top step and that’s good points for the championship.”
