Fifth Victory for Fairclough in 2026
The Brit has won the last 4 out of 5 races taking his fifth victory of his 2026 campaign at Donington Park.
On pole for the second GB3 race at Donington Park was Deagan Fairclough and alongside him on the front row was Nikita Bedrin. Dante Vinci and Maxim Rehm were both handed a 3-place grid penalty for this race.
A great start from Fairclough extended the gap to Bedrin and an incredible start from Wilson who made his way into third. Bedrin fell down the order after ending up in the gravel by the Fogarty Esses which led to a safety car, neutralising the grid, not the end of a race the championship leader would have wanted.
On the restart it was Fairclough from Wilson from Molnar with Fairclough managing to create a gap of almost 1.2s between himself and the Arden Motorsport of Wilson. Wheel to wheel went Rodrigo Gonzalez and Baptista and contact between the two with damage to Gonzalez’ front wing.
Getting squeezed out wide near the opening corner by Baptista was Jack Taylor and both drivers went into the barrier, both drivers now out of the race. For the second time this race, the safety car was deployed and the incident is to be noted by race control.
The second restart saw Fairclough build more of a margin to Leon Wilson. Slightly further down the grid, Pulling and Bouzinelos went wheel to wheel but Pulling was unable to make the move. Flynn Jackes fell down the order and entered the pits.
Victorious yet again across the line was Deagan Fairclough, in second we saw Arden Motorsport’s Leon Wilson and rounding off the podium places was Rodin’s Martin Molnar.
