F2 is set to hit the iconic Silverstone Circuit this race weekend in Northamptonshire to accompany Formula 1’s British Grand Prix.

The Track
Formula 2 follows the same track layout as Formula 1 meaning the track distance is the same at 5.891km, however they have a shorter race distance. Their sprint race is 21 laps or 123.711km while their feature race is 29 laps or 170.839km. This provides ample overtaking opportunities across the weekend for our drivers to gain more points at areas such as Copse and Stowe.
Who to watch
The top four spots in the championship are separated by just 28 points by round 7 and these places are occupied by Gabriele Mini (who leads the championship charge), Red Bull Junior - Nikola Tsolov just 2 points behind, 2025 Formula 3 Champion - Rafael Camara and finally Alex Dunne.
There is a specific focus on Alex Dunne with it being the closest race to consider his “home” race and the fact he took a podium last year plus clinched a front row start, shows he knows how to go racing at Silverstone. The second driver is home hero John Bennet: after taking a victory out in Austria he is ready to continue the momentum and take a win in Northamptonshire with the support of his home crowd.
As always it is important to keep your eye on the top 3 in the championship due to their points scoring consistency nut with the changing weather conditions the British Grand Prix weekend brings the win is up for grabs for the team with the best strategy calls.
