It’s race week for FRECA at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Let’s recap what occurred last year and what we are to expect this time out.

Race 1 for FRECA was won by Rafael Camara, who converted his pole position into maximum points. Even with a 5-second penalty due to a jump start, Camara dominated the track and battled for his win. Tuukka Taponen and James Wharton rounded out the podium, taking home silver and bronze trophies, respectively. All three of these drivers have gone on to race in the FIA Formula 3 2025 championship, highlighting the spotlight FRECA can have on a young driver's career.
Race 2 saw a downpour of rain and a wet race in which Alessandro Giusti won. It was plagued with incidents, including a collision between Camara and Taponen as well as a spin by Evan Giltaire. Noah Stromsted took second place while James Wharton took home another third place; a strong haul of points for Wharton that weekend.

Currently, Freddie Slater has a 20-point lead over Matteo De Palo in the standings. With his consistent points paying results, can Slater extend his lead or will De Palo strike gold? With 36 drivers jostling for track positions and points, we are sure to witness an intense race. If you want to spice up your weekend, tune in to the official FRECA YouTube Channel!
