Ginetta GT Academy + Championship Oulton Park Preview

The second round of the Ginetta GT Academy and Championship takes place at Oulton Park on May 22-25, but what do you need to know?

The second round of the 2026 Ginetta GT Academy and Championship is taking place at Oulton Park between May 22-25th. Ginetta GT Academy and Championship is acting as a supporting racing series for the British GT Championship alongside the Ginetta Juniors, GB4 and the Liqui Moly Slicks and New Millenium. The round will feature a qualifying session and three races. During this weekend there will be on track action on the Friday (testing), Saturday and Monday - with no racing action on Sunday 24th May.

Oulton Park Circuit is one of the UK’s most scenic and challenging motorsport venues. The circuit is located near the village of Little Budworth, originally built on the grounds of a former country estate and features several track layouts, measuring 2.69 miles (4.33 km).

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday May 23rd:

10:40 - 10:55 - Qualifying (GT Academy)

11:35 - 11:50 - Qualifying (GT Championship)

16:40 - 17:00 - Race 1 

Monday May 25th 

12:20 - 12:40 - Race 2

17:00 - 17:20 - Race 3
