GT WC EU Goes to Monza

From the 29-31 of May, GT World Challenge Europe will be racing around Monza. Here is everything you need to know.
The drivers will be taking on a 3 hour race across the 5.379km circuit known as the Temple Of Speed. This is exactly as it sounds, the circuit is known for its fast straights and heavy braking zones, designed to test a driver. The circuit will showcase the different strengths of teams and cars.
Looking into the manufacturers, a stand out this weekend is the number 3 Mercedes AMG. Its drivers are coming off the back of racing for different teams at the 24 hours of Nurgburging, also they are part of Verstappen Racing meaning they bring a lot of media coverage and fans along with them. In the car this weekend will be Juncadella, Lulham and Gounan, a strong mix of drivers.
Another team to watch is the number 46 BMW for Team WRT. On board this weekend they’ll have MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi. As with Verstappen Racing, he brings with him a large amount of media coverage and fans, but also years of experience in the world of motorsport, making him a one to watch.
Fast approaching is the 24 Hours of Spa. Teams will be using this weekend as a way to prepare for the main race of the season. They’ll be testing how the car is faring across 3 hours and how that’ll differ to 24 hours.
