Lando backs in Miami?

Jeddah wasn’t on Lando side. After a brilliant lap in Q2, he start his first lap into Q3. But at the beginning in Q3 he lost the control of the rear of his McLaren in Turn 4 and slippers into the barriers on the outside of the 150-mph Turn 5. That means Qualifying over for the champion leader. At the end Max Verstappen takes pole over 0.010 seconds to Oscar Piastri and George Russell. The Britain driver will start on 10th position in the grid. What can he do from that position?Carlos Sainz out qualified Lewis Hamilton in a Williams!

Sunday 17.10 Swiss time, the formations lap begun. All red lights get out, Oscar Piastri gets a better start than Verstappen.The Red Bull don t let him go. Into the first corner, almost a crash but the 4th world champion takes first position. The McLaren driver spoke with the team, that Max give the position back, but he doesn’t. The FIA takes a 5 seconds penalty of him. Few corner later Pierre and Yuki crash into each other, first safety car in this race. 7 laps later the new start, Max leads the race over Oscar. Lando now in 8th positions next to the crash of two drivers.

Boxstopps starts in the middle of the race, Oscar started to struggle with the types and take him to hard. Time later Max also takes the stop +5 seconds penalty. After his stop he came out behind Lewis Hamilton, the 7th world champion. Leclerc and Norris the only one in the top 10 they didn’t pit. But laps to laps, Leclerc pits. The Papaya driver is new leader of this race. He tells, that the Tyre over and came to the box. Medium on Lando s car, after he takes more than 40 laps with the hard.

He came out behind Charles, but before Kimi the second driver from Mercedes. Let s begin to overtake, the first Lewis Hamilton, but the champion doesn’t let him. Endless after 3 laps he overtake him into the last and first corner. Norris drive the fastest time in the race, he comes closer and closer to the Ferrari driver. In 4th Position Norris, George Russell in 5th behind him. Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton. First ever double points for Williams in 2025. Isack Hadjar the last driver with points in Jedda. Now 1 week off and let s go to Miami.

After that race Oscar is leading the championship to his teammate Lando Norris 10 Points behind. And 2 Points back Max Verstappen.

Four Wins in 5 races for McLaren it s a statement.

Thoughts for Miami

I think it will be a McLaren win, maybe a double Podium. The season is long and everything can change in one race. Lando comeback in Miami is a statement after his first win last year, I know that means nothing. But he is concentrate and will fight for the championship, he want to win, to make the team proud, good day or bad day the team standing behind him. And a good teammate means so much, for me Oscar is the best mate that Lando had in the past and will in the future. Oscar is in the same situation as him and it helps. At the end only one can be world champion and for a boss is not easy to take the decision. But let them race, until the end. They shouldn’t crash, but its not the first time that teammates crash in the same situation. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rossberg crash, but after that the friendship was never the same again. Lando and Oscar never had that close friendship as they has. And that’s the point, they crash but few race later everything will be okay. Also back to Hungary and Monza, the situation was not easy for both of them. Speak with each other is the key for every friendship in the grid.
