Formula E goes from the coast of China to the heart of Japan in Tokyo for Round 14 of the 2025/2026 Season.
Track Facts
The track is 2.575km long and incorporates 18 turns some being high speed other being technical and of course we have straights for some cleaner overtakes during attack mode. It’s also an anti-clockwise track which is unusual in racing. Prime overtaking spots include turn 1 as drivers can exploit the splitstream from the main straight, a second spot is turn 4 where the activation zone for attack mode is placed creating mid-race overtakes enabled by strategy.
2025 Recap
The first race of the 2025 double was impacted by torrential rain meaning qualifying was cancelled and FP2 results set the grid, leaving Rowland with Pole Position. Vandoorne and Maserati executed a perfectly timed Pit Boost before the red flag emerged as Gunther stalled leaving Vandoorne with a victory. Rowland was second but 8 seconds behind Vandoorne while Taylor Barnard took bronze. Race 2 there was a proper qualifying to set the grid as the weather subsided and Rowland took it again but this time converted the win. Joining the Brit on the podium was fellow Brit Dan Ticktum and Pascal Wehrlein.
