On June 19th the Doha Diamond League began, bringing together some of the world’s best athletes.

Women’s Triple Jump


Davisleydi Velazco from Cuba opens the Doha Diamond League in style, jumping a World Lead of 15.13m.


Women’s 400m Hurdles 


Emma Zapletalová from Slovakia blazes to 52.30 seconds in Doha, clocking a new Meeting Record, a new National Record and a new World Lead.


Men’s 110m Hurdles 


Cordell Tinch from USA clocks 13.23 seconds to take victory in the men’s 110m hurdles in Doha.


Women’s 100m 


Kemba Nelson from Jamaica rockets to victory in the women’s 100m with a time of 10.88 seconds.


Women’s 800m


Addison Wiley from USA clocks a 1:57.98 and holds every challenger off down the home straight to take home her first Diamond League victory.


Men’s Pole Vault 


Emmanouil Karalis from Greece soars to victory with a jump of 5.92m to claim his second Diamond League win.


Women’s 5000m 


Medina Eisa from Ethiopia crossed the line in 14:53.91 to win a dramatic 5000.


Men’s Triple Jump


Pedro Pichardo from Portugal takes victory in Doha with a jump of 17.71m setting a new World Lead.


Men’s 200m


Sinesipho Dambile from South Africa showcased his fine form tonight at the Doha Diamond League storming to a new Personal Best of 19.74 seconds.


Men’s High Jump


Matteo Sioli from Italy sails over 2.29m to take the Doha Diamond league win.


Women’s 400m


Marileidy Paulino from Dominican Republic leaves no room for doubt out in Doha , clocking  48.91 seconds to break Allyson Felix’s meeting record set in 2008. 


Men’s Javelin Throw 


Rumesh Parthirage from Sri Lanka hurls 88.68m to take the win at the Doha Diamond League.


Men’s 3000m Steeplechase 


Soufiane El Bakkali set the standard at the Doha Diamond League, clocking a time of 8:09.28 to take victory at the Doha Diamond league..


Women’s 1500m 


Birke Haylom from Ethiopia shows that 1500m racing is a fine art, dominating the field and crossing the finish line in 3:59.89.
