In the rainy London 2025 Wanda Diamond League, several stars delivered standout performances across track and field. The results highlight both new emerging talents and established champions as the Diamond League season builds toward its final showdown.

Wayne Pinnock - Men’s Long Jump

Jamaican long jumper Wayne Pinnock soared to 8.20 meters, securing his first Diamond League win of the 2025 season and beat the greek long jumper Miltiadis Tentoglou by just 1cm.
Femke Bol - Women’s 400m Hurdles

Femke Bol from the Netherlands takes another Diamond League win clocking to 52.10 running in different weather conditions at the women’s 400m hurdles, the fourth win of the season. Dominant as ever, the Dutchwoman fell short of the world lead she was hoping for, but victory means she has now secured qualification for the Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich next month.
Mykolas Alekna - Men’s Discus Throw

Lithuanian thrower Mykolas Alekna despites the inclement weather, rain and wet conditions, he launches the discus to 71.70m and sets a new Diamond League Record and a new meeting record. There was no change in the Final 3, so Alekna walked away as the winner of this Diamond League.
Emmanuel Wanyonyi - Men’s 800

From Kenya Emmanuel Wanyonyi takes the win at the London Diamond league clocking to 1.42.00 and sets a new Meeting Record.
Medina Eisa - Women’s 5000m

From Ethiopia, Medina Eisa won the 5000m with some impressive tactical running, clocking to 14:30.57. Eisa and her compatriots Fantaye Belayneh and Fotye Tesfay are neck and neck at the front of the pack, setting up what appears to be a three-way fight in the final lap.
Georgia Hunter Bell - Women’s 800m

Georgia Hunter Bell from Great Britain takes home win in the London Diamond League. She won comfortably with a season's best of 1:56.74, just short of the world lead, which is the second fastest 800m in the world this year.
Olivia Mctaggart - Women’s Pole Vault

New Zealand pole vaulter Olivia Mctaggart despite the rain in this meeting she cleared a personal best to 4.73m in the women’s pole vault to take the win at the London Diamond League . That's her first ever Diamond League win, which impressed the officials in celebration.
Morgan Lake - Women’s High Jump

Morgan Lake from Great Britain takes home victory in the women’s high jump by clearing 1.96m which is just millimeters from a new British record and a season best.
Gudaf Tsegay - Women’s 1 Mile

Ethiopian middle-distance star Gudaf Tsegay led from the gun and ran 4:11.88 to set a new meeting record, world lead and national record in which Tsegay ran the second-fastest mile ever.
Charles Dobson - Men’s 400m

The British 400m runner Charles Dobson delivered one of the biggest surprises in the series' history when he won the final last year, and he stunned the world again with a win in front of his home crowd here, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere to overtake them all up and cross the line with a personal best of 44.14.
Julien Alfred - Women’s 200m

Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia tears it up in the women's 200m! The Olympic 100m champion shows her class once again with a brilliant 21.71, setting a world lead, meeting record and a national record.
Phanuel Kipkosgei Koech - Men’s 1500m

At just 18 years old, Phanuel Kipkosgei Koech from Kenya stunned the field with a lightning-fast 3:28.82, setting a new meeting record.
Malaika Mihambo - Women’s Long Jump

Malaika Mihambo from Germany was in trouble ahead of the fifth round of the long jump, having landed only one legal effort at a frankly unimpressive 4.14m. Yet Mihambo is nothing if not a fighter, and shows her class with a brilliant 6.93m to take the lead.
Oblique Seville - Men’s 100m

Finally, Jamaica's Oblique Seville who steals the headlines here. He explodes out of the blocks like a cannon ball and never looks back and clocks 9.86.
