WANDA DIAMOND LEAGUE SILESIA 2025

The Wanda Diamond League returned with a bang on Friday, 15th August and on Saturday, 16th August as an extraordinary array of Olympic champions and world record breakers in Silesia for the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial 2025.

Yaroslava Mahuchikh - Women’s High Jump

Yaroslava Mahuchikh from Ukraine took the win in the women's high jump with a jump of 2.00m, setting a new meeting record.


 Payton Otterdahl - Men’s Shot Put

The American Payton Otterdahl secured his second Diamond League win of the year; a throw to 22.28m allowed for him to secure first place.


Jasmine Moore - Women’s Long Jump

Jasmine Moore of the USA set a new meeting record and a season best withy a jump of 6.85m, securing the American first place in the event.


Marileidy Paulino - Women’s 400m

Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic won the 400m with a time of  49.18 seconds.


Masai Russell - Women’s 100m Hurdles

Masai Russell from USA won the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.19 seconds, setting a new Diamond League Record and a new Meeting Record.


Hamish Kerr - Men’s High Jump

Hamish Kerr from New Zealand took the win on Men’s High Jump, jumping a season best 2.33m.


Gudaf Tsegay - Women’s 1500m

Gudaf Tsegay from Ethiopia took the win, while also setting a new meeting record and a season best by clocking a time of 3.50.62.


Kishane Thompson - Men’s 100m

Kishane Thompson from Jamaica took the win in the men’s 100m with a time of 9.87 seconds, equalising the Meeting Record in the process.


Femke Bol - Women’s 400m Hurdles

Femke Bol from the Netherlands set a new World Lead and a new Meeting Record on the women’s 400m hurdles with a time of  51.91 seconds.

Yared Nuguse from USA took the win in the men's 1500m with a time of 3:33.19.


Shericka Jackson - Women’s 200m

Shericka Jackson from Jamaica took the win in the women’s 200m by setting a new season best time of 22.17.


Armand Duplantis - Men’s Pole Vault

Armand Duplantis from Sweden took the win in the men's pole vault with a jump of 6.10m.


Julius Yego - Men’s Javelin Throw

Julius Yego from Kenya won the men's javelin throw with a throw of 83.60m.


Karsten Warholm - Men’s 400m Hurdles

Karsten Warholm from Norway took the win on the men’s 400m hurdles, while also setting a new World Lead, a new Diamond League record and a new meeting record with a time of 46.28.


Melissa Jefferson-Wooden - Women’s 100m

Finally, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden took the win on the women’s 100m with a time of  10.66, which also equalled the meeting record.
