From the 1-3 May the roars of the superbikes will be heard across Hungary but here’s what you should know about this race weekend.

The series will be travelling to Balaton Park Circuit for the fourth round of the season. Officially opening in May of 2023 it’s a newer track for our riders to race on known for the stop-and-go nature and it being anti-clockwise. With a track length of 4.075km, 17 turns and a track record left by reigning champion and now MotoGP rider - Toprak Razgatioglu at 1:38.357 can anyone relinquish this record from the Turkish riders grasp.
Turn one is a prime overtaking spot along with the back straight so be sure to keep an eye out when our riders are racing for daring moves there. Another turn to watch is number 5. It’s considered the hardest corner for braking with a deceleration of roughly 2000km/h it pushes our riders endurance and physical abilities.
Last year marked the 1000th race for WorldSBK which was won by Toprak making it a hat-trick of golds for him over the weekend, this year Nicolo Bulega is likely to reenact this achievement having collected maximum points for this year so far placing him as championship leader and favourite to win this season.
