The BTCC returns from its summer break at the fastest circuit in the UK! This week we had three different racers claim victory. The weekend featured wheel-to-wheel racing and bold overtakes. Read this article to find more about the Thruxton race weekend!

Qualifying
1st - Josh Cook; 1:15.219
Qualifying Race
1st - Josh Cook; 1:16.546
Josh Cook was flying through Saturday with a very good result, which led him to pole position for Race 1 on Sunday. There was a mid-race safety crash on the opening lap involving Ricky Collard to retire. Tom Ingram was applying early pressure on Josh Cook which made Tom second place.

Race 2
1st- Ashley Sutton
2nd- Dan Cammish
3rd- Josh Cook
Race 3
1st- Tom Ingram
2nd- Ashley Sutton
3rd- Dan Cammish
Tom Ingram received a five second penalty in Race 3 for a start infringement but it still left him in 1st place for the last race. Team Vertu Ricky Collard did a brilliant drive from 11th on the grid to 4th.
Josh Cook left Thruxton in the championship 4th place! He led really good battles this weekend.
