Fabio Di Giannantonio kept third place into Turn 1, while Ai Ogura got a good start and moved up into the leading group. Once Márquez was in the clean air he started to settle into a strong and comfortable rhythm, gradually extending his lead.

The standings got shaken up when Alex Márquez crashed out while chasing his brother for the lead. A few laps later Fabio Di Giannantonio also found the gravel, ending another opportunity for a good result. With Alex and Fabio out of the race, promoted Ai Ogura into second place and Raúl Fernández got into third place, giving Trackhouse Racing another podium with their two riders.
